Outlander…wtf?

Has anybody else noticed how much Outlander changed from its original idea to the final result? What a ride that must have been. Not the best in my book… A buddy’s watching it right now, I think I’ll give it another shot.

EDIT: Eh, it’s fun. Nevermind some of the iffy effects and the not-new hero story. Decent fun.

Marilyn Manson & Bill O'Reilly

I can’t stand Bill O’Reilly interviews. I hate the standpoints, the badgering, the ultimatums he gives his interviewees, everything. Conversely, I like watching Marilyn Manson interviews, partly because I think people like him who are quiet but clearly have something to say deserve to say it, and because the ones with him are always intelligent and interesting. This interview is the best interview I’ve ever seen with either of them. If you can’t stand O’Reilly, don’t worry, this puts that reputation to rest for once, and gives Manson the greatest opportunity I’ve seen so far to say what he wants to say in a TV-friendly way. Robin Williams: Impersonation of a Smart Kid

I was watching Robin Williams’ Live at the Met and Inside the Actor’s Studio videos last night and came across this piece during his interview that had me at tears. Firstly, technological jokes are among my favorites, and the voice he does for this kid is just perfect so the two together is a recipe for success in my book. Great stuff [after the jump].
